Incentives of creative thinking

Goal

  • Encourage the creative thinking of the seminar participants in solving every-day problems
  • Encourage searching for unconventional solutions
  • Give inspiration and methods for creating new ideas
  • Learn to control the activity of the brain hemispheres depending on the specifics of the task in order to optimalize the solution
  • Widen the horizons, decrease the stress of everyday life, ordering of priorities, "outside of the box"

Target audience – up to 12 participants in the group

  • For people of any field of activity in companies that are innovation-oriented and open to change

Methods

  • Seminar in the form of presentations, discussions and training with active involvement of the participants
  • The participants are divided in teams, during the entire seminar there are team presentations and competitions
  • The participants retain the seminar materials

Time – optimally 2 days

  • Introduction: Significance of creative thinking, creative people (art, technology, business), creative thinking and innovation:

    Why should we be creative?
    What have creative people given to the world?
    What stifles creative thinking?
    The significance of creative thinking in a business context
    A short practical work for the conclusion

  • The principles of brain operation in the context of creative and rational thinking

    The operation and role of brain hemispheres
    Phenomena of memory and imagination and their control
    Control and stimulation of brain operation
    Several practical tasks are made during this section

  • Paradox as a method of creative strategy and thinking
  • Methods of stimulating creative thinking and imagination

    Various methods for obtaining unexpected and creative solutions
    Exercises for breaking the accustomed way of thinking
    Innovation-oriented tasks

    What are the criteria that characterize creative work?
